TANTRUM QUEEN?
Buzz is that Hollywood studio bosses were not too happy with actor Freida Pinto's diva act

Actor Freida Pinto is yet to have a hit as a solo star, but when it comes to behaving like a star, seems like she sure can teach even the most established ones a thing or two about starry tantrums. Buzz is that the actor threw quite a few during the promotional rounds of her recent release, so much so that it even upset the studio bosses in Hollywood.
A studio insider reveals that not only did she act pricey while giving out dates for the film promotion, but the actor also behaved like a complete diva all through. "She behaved like she was the busiest star among the entire cast, which incidentally includes Oscar nominee James Franco too. Usually, she's known to be quite co-operative, hence we were taken aback with her attitude this time around," said the insider.
Another studio source confirms that several interactive rounds that were planned by the studio had to be called off due to her unreasonable demands. "From being checked into a particular suite for the interactions to being choosey about who talks to her and when, she was being very unco-operative. India being her base, we had thought that she would promote our film better there, but it was quite the opposite. She was most reluctant to do most India-related activities,"added the source. "That could largely have to do with the fact that out here, as opposed to the West where she is a big name, here she is still not a star per se and is only considered an actor who got lucky with Slumdog Millionaire," shared the studio hand. "We guess she just wants to build that aura of a diva. But in the long run, it won't work in her favour to burn the bridges with people here," the source added.
A source close to the star added, "Freida is usually one of the most co-perative and non-fussy actors, so it's a surprise to see this change. May be it had something to do with her last Woody Allen flop that she had a lot riding on and decided to stay away from too many interactions this time."
