Did Subhash Ghai refuse to part with Hero title for Sajid Nadiadwala?

Did Subhash Ghai refuse to part with Hero title for Sajid Nadiadwala?

Or is there some missing link here?

DEC 1983 Subhash Ghai launches Jackie Shroff in his film Hero
MARCH 2012 Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea registers the title Herogiri.
JUNE 2012 Sajid Nadiadwala announces Heropanti with Tiger Shroff
SEPT 2012 Anil asks Sajid to change his title. He says Sajid has told him he will ask Subhash Ghai for the title of Hero and if Ghai gives it to him, he will then use Hero instead of Heropanti for his launch film with Tiger.

An insider then tells us that Sajid has gone ahead and requested Subhash for the title of Hero. Our source reveals, “But Subhashji asked for an astronomical amount of money from Sajid to part with the title.”

Everyone is shocked. After all, they know Subhash is close to Jaggu and was once meant to launch Tiger himself. So they’re wondering why he is putting a spoke in the wheel.
We asked Subhash if he actually refused Sajid the title of Hero, to which he replied, “Never. I wasn’t asked about it at all.”
Sajid too denies that he approached

Subhash for the title. In a text to this paper, he says, “No... never, kabhi nahin.”
No matter what their official claims are, the truth, it seems, lies between all the players’ versions.

Subhash Ghai

Sajid Nadiadwala

Anil Kapoor
