Snoop Dogg and Bappi Lahiri collaborate with South director SK Basheed




Music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri and international rapper Snoop Dogg have collaborated on the energetic track Patialla Pegg for South director SK Basheed's Bollywood debut.This song, the American artiste's second tryst with Hindi cinema after Singh Is Kinng, will be shot in virgin locales across continents. The filmmaker, who is currently in Jordan, scouting locations for the song, says, “I'm for aying into Bollywood with a youth flick titled 100% Useless Fellows. Seven top music directors and nearly 25 singers will be a part of it. Bappi Lahiri, Lesle Lewis, Ismail Darbar and Sandesh Shandilya have already been signed and I'm in talks with others as well.“
Basheed has previously produced and directed films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada including Allare Allari, Satyameva Jayate, Benki Birugaali, Pottu Thallu, Yaaredre Nanagenu, Fire and Evadra Hero.
Patialla Peg is a peppy promotional number that will be a musical extravaganza of sorts, he promises. He says, “I wish to connect with young people. The song is a sneak peak into the values my film will bring to the table. I'm glad that Bappi Da and Snoop Dogg are teaming up creatively for my film. Their efforts took things to a whole new level. I'm also planning a big promotional tour with both of them along with all music directors and artistes.“
