Actor Priyanka Chopra apparently met Hollywood star Gerard Butler during her recent trip to the US

For quite sometime now, speculation has been rife about actor Priyanka Chopra's personal life. While she has been linked to actor Shahid Kapoor in the past, the two are now apparently over it and just share a professional relationship. There's also been buzz about PC being rather close to her firang friend, Hollywood actor Gerard Butler whom she apparently met again during her recent trip to the US, while she was working on her international music album. According to sources, keeping her company there was Gerard. The Scottish actor and PC go back a long way and he had apparently even proposed to her when he was in Mumbai. Priyanka however has always maintained that the two are just good friends. A source close to the actor says, "Gerard and Priyanka are good friends and after visiting her in Mumbai, he had even paid her a visit on the sets of Anjaana Anjaani when it was being filmed in the US. Gerry (as he's fondly called) had decided to visit her when he learnt that she was shooting close by." And apparently this time around when she was in the US, he decided to extend his hospitality, especially after she threw a bash for him in Mumbai last year when he was in the country. Gerry extended an invitation to Piggy Chops inviting her to stay at his plush residence in Beverly Hills, LA. A source reveals, "Gerard and Priyanka have always been in touch. So this time when Gerard found out that she was coming to the US, he invited her to stay at his villa in Beverly Hills. Priyanka was initially caught off guard but apparently decided to accept his invitation, as she realised it would be easier to work on her music album.
