With most of the B-Towners working on their films or doing promotional activities, Bollywood's having a rather busy Diwali this year. And one of these busy actors happens to be Chitrangda Singh, whose shooting schedule is apparently giving her no time to celebrate the festival with her family. The actor will be celebrating Diwali sans her family here in Mumbai.
Chitrangda has previously mentioned how difficult it is for her to juggle between her film career and spending time with husband, ace golfer Jyoti Randhawa and her four-year-old son. The actor's family is based in Delhi, while Chitrangda's shoots see her spending more time in Mumbai, because of which the actor hardly gets to spend time with her family. In fact, she has admitted that the only time she gets to spend time with her husband and son is when they come down to Mumbai or when she travels to Delhi. Sources close to the actor reveal that she always makes it a point to be with her family during festivals, but this time around it just wasn't possible. "Of course she will be missing her family, but she is a thorough professional too and wouldn't want to upset the schedule," says the source.
Unlike previous years, this time around, she will not be with her son today. But probably, she's making up for missing out on the real-mommy time, by playing a mom on reel now.
Chitrangda will soon be seen playing a mom in her forthcoming film Desi Boyz that also stars Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The actor, who is known for her intense roles in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Yeh Saali Zindagi will apparently play a mom on screen for the first time. Well, one guesses, this should not be a difficult task for Chitrangda at all.
