Kareena is all set to revive the traditional dance form 'Mujra' on the big screen in Agent Vinod.

We take a look at a few Mujra numbers of Bollywood which still posses the minds of masses.



1. Kareena Kapoor (Agent Vinod)
Donning unconventional looks with bare minimum jewelry and red Anarkali attire, the song seems to be a surprise element of the movie. As Bebo is known to be a trendsetter, it will be interesting to see if she can lead Bollywood's Mujra league as well 


2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ( Umraao Jaan )
Despite having a good star cast, the new Umrao Jaan failed to leave any impression at BO. But Aish's appearance in the movie and especially in song 'Salaam' left everybody mesmerized by her beauty.



3. Madhuri Dixit (Devdas)
If its about dance then Paaro of Devdas is a character not to be overlooked. Madhuri brought the character Paaro to life in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas' with song Maar Daala, an evergreen Mujra performance by Mrs Nene. 


4. Rani Mukherjee (Mangal Panday)
While struggling to break away from under-performance of her films, Rani also performed a Mujra in Mr.Perfectionist's 'Mangal Panday' called Main Vari Vari.


5. Tabu (Jeet)
Tabu, known for her fabulous performances, gave a sizzling Mujra performance for Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Jeet'. Song Dil ka kya Karein is counted among some the most popular Mujra numbers of big screen. 



6. Rekha (Umrao Jaan & Muqadar Ka Sikander)
Well if somebody deserves to be called as the Evergreen Mujra queen of Indian cinema, then its none other than Rekha . Songs like Salam-e-Ishq , Dil cheez kya and In Aankhn ki masti, that blended with never ending beauty of Rekha, are still counted amongst the landmark Mujra performances on the Silver Screen.


7. Meena Kumari (Pakeezah)
From the era of classics, another name which deserves to be quoted in Bollywood's Mujra league is Meena Kumari. Meena Kumari's performance in Chalte Chalte from 'Pakeezah' is still afresh in our memories.
