Recent reports insist there is tension between filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia and actor Prateik, but the duo say otherwise
Actor Prateik, who has been in the news off late for being replaced by actor Imran Khan in a Tigmanshu Dhulia film, is upset with news that he apparently had a fall out with the film maker and subsequently walked out of the project. While Tigmanshu is on a high after Sahib Biwi aur Gangster, he apparently decided to rope in Prateik for Milan Talkies after seeing his performance in the past couple of films. News that Tigmanshu was pursuing Prateik was making the rounds but shortly after that it was reported that Prateik had been replaced by Imran and that relationships between the duo got strained. Clearing the air, Prateik says, “I really like the films that Tighmanshu sir makes, we couldn’t work on Milan... due to some unfortunate circumstances. The film was previously to be produced by a production house but now some other production house is making it. Things just didn’t workout in between of all this but I would like to get directed by him whenever things work out for us.” Brushing aside rumours, Tighmanshu too has expressed his desire to work with Prateik in future. He added, “I have seen Prateik’s work and I think he is very talented. He has a hint of his mother’s acting prowess in him. Unfortunately this film didn’t work for us due to some unavoidable reasons but I would like to cast a talented young lad like him in future.”
