Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s (MD, Studios, DisneyUTV) upcoming wedding on December 14 has been in the news since mid-2012. On Tuesday, in what looked like the start of the functions, the couple hosted a formal dinner attended only by the close families of the bride and the groom-to-be. Vidya and Siddharth managed to keep the media guessing about the venue, till the shutterbugs finally caught up with them in Juhu.

The paparazzi first landed up at Vidya’s residence in Khar, but she made a sly exit through the back gate, sending out a Mercedes from the front gate as a decoy. The photographers then dashed off to various locations in Khar, Chembur and Cuffe Parade. Eventually, the hunt came to an end when they managed to locate the dinner venue — A La Mode Banquets in Juhu — behind Ekta Kapoor’s bungalow.
Later in the night, as they prepared to leave, the media finally caught up with the elusive couple. After the initial deer-in-the-headlights moment, Vidya and Siddharth posed for pictures, for the first time as a couple.
