Rains to affect Ranbir and Deepika’s films

Rains to affect Ranbir and Deepika’s films

Heavy downpour in Mumbai over the last three days has probably made Sanjay Leela Bhansali regret his generosity toward Shah Rukh Khan.
SRK’s Chennai Express was on course for completion, requiring only Deepika Padukone’s dates, which were with SLB for his Ram Leela. SLB graciously parted with the dates at the time.
What he didn’t bargain for, was
the incessant torrent of rain that is making shooting in Film City increasingly difficult. What’s more, Deepika and her Ram Leela co-star, Ranveer Singh have had to move on to other commitments, and the remaining shooting can only conclude after the skies clear up.
Meanwhile, the rains also played spoilsport for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bombay Velvet, which will be shot in Sri Lanka.
RAINS AFFECT RANBIR AND DEEPIKA’S FILMS
Bombay Times had earlier told you how Bombay was being recreated in Sri Lanka for this Anurag Kashyap venture.
The monsoons ensured that work on the set
creation has suffered a setback with our source pegging the damage as “an additional cost of 5 lakh a day in the way of rent for the land being used for the set, along with labourer’s fees, along with daily allowance and accommodation for the team that has gone to Sri Lanka from Mumbai.”
