24’s first look to be unveiled
The first look of Anil Kapoor’s debut television show, 24, will be revealed today with the unveiling of its poster. This will be followed by a theatrical launch of the trailer. This is the first time an Indian telly show is being promoted through a poster and a theatrical launch.
The espionage drama is a desi adaptation of the acclaimed American TV series by the same name. Kapoor will play ATU Chief Jai Singh Rathod in the show, which has a real-time narration format. Sources say his look in the show resembles that of Kiefer Sutherland — as Jack Bauer — in the US version. 24 also boasts of a stellar Bollywood cast and some never-seen-before stunts.
24 will launch this October on Colors.
