Newbie Sonia replaces Fenil to play Pihu
Fenil Umrigar, the original Pihu — Ram and Priya’s daughter — of Bade Achhe Laggte Hain, who joined the show post the
seven-year time-leap, has been replaced by newbie Sonia Balani. Apparently, the makers felt that Fenil didn’t suit the part, which is soon going to turn negative. Says a source, “Fenil has soft looks, which made the producer doubt if she’d be able to pull off the negative character.” Sonia confirmed the news. — NMB
