Next week, the Kabir
Festival will be back once again in Mumbai, this time in its sixth
edition. Happening between January 7 and 10, it will feature over 30
artistes in 17 events, multiple workshops, discussions and story
narrations at various venues in the city. The festival, which has free
entry
for all, aims to share the message of mystic poets through soulful music
like folk-style bhajans, abhangs, qawwalis and baul songs sung by rural
and urban artistes from around the country . There will also be film
screenings, stories, dance and discussions.
