'I am single'
...says actor Prachi Desai, as she reveals why she doesn't ever get linked up with her co-stars
Actor Prachi Desai is young, good-looking and single, but the actor
says that she does not have the time for romance. The actor also says that she never gets written about for her personal life because she really is a very private person who has a close circle of friends and swears by her family.
Talking about it she says, "I am a very private person and I hardly socialise. Frankly I am never spotted at parties and social do's unless it is something to do with my films or personal commitments so the question of getting linked to my co-stars doesn't come into the picture at all. Besides how many films have I done to get linked to my co-stars?" she laughs.
Since she is young and not much about her personal life has been written about, we ask her if she is single and ready to mingle. "Well, I am obviously single. If I did have someone I would be spotted somewhere with someone. Of course I would want to be in love. Tell me who does not want to have a special someone, but frankly with the kind of lives that we lead, it does get difficult to meet people besides actors. We are constantly travelling and on the move besides where is the time? After a hard days work, all you want to do is head home straight," she says emphatically.
Talking about co-stars we ask her if she has any favourites amongst the younger lot she is looking forward to working with. "I have a crush on so many actors because so many of them are good-looking, but most are either married or seeing someone. But amongst the younger lot, I am looking forward to working with Abhay Deol and Prateik Babbar. Both are extremely good looking and versatile actors. I like their choices of films and I think it will be fun working with them."
