A tale of friends stranded at sea

Anubhav Sinha’s next, Warning, is about a group of friends who lose their way at sea during an adventure trip. The film, which is Gurmmeet Singh’s directorial debut, also sees the launch of Anubhav’s banner, Benaras Mediaworks Production.
Says Anubhav, “The film captures their fear and agony. It could happen to anyone of us.” Shooting in an ocean with underwater sequences was not easy. “The crew had to balance themselves on a raft with a crane on board. The toughest was dealing with unpredictable winds. But, my previous experience of shooting in the ocean (for a TV serial) helped. The actors were trained by international experts,” he adds.
Shooting in 3D also had its share of hardships. He says, “Equipment was
shipped from Venice and India to Fiji.

We had 3D experts fly down from Los Angeles, since the technology was new to us.” The film has seven newbies. “Newcomers bring a very infectious energy on the set,” he adds.
Warning, produced by Eros International, Benaras Mediaworks Production & Alumbra Entertainment, releases worldwide on September 27.
