I can spend hours just sitting in my balcony and looking out at the greenery: Aditi Sharma
No matter how much we love to travel and explore the world, there is always one place we yearn to go back to — home sweet home! And when we head home after a long day at work, battling through the crazy traffic, the one thing that we all long for is to curl with a cuppa at our favourite corner in the house. TV actress Aditi Sharma can’t agree more. It took her a decade to set her heart on her dream home and own it. The fact that Aditi and her husband, actor Sarwar Ahuja, both worked towards accomplishing their dream, makes their love pad even more special.
The one thing Aditi looks forward to after wrapping up shoot is to head home and be in her happy space — her balcony. Though she feels that every corner holds a special significance for her, the balcony is the place where she loves to unwind. Says the actress, “If I wish to be just me, I prefer sitting in the balcony. I like to read with my cup of coffee and play with my dog. It is peaceful and I also get a view of my garden from here. Even if I am shooting every day, I make it a point to have my tea in the balcony. The morning view with the soothing greenery and chirping birds allows me to become one with nature. On days when I am not shooting, I love spending hours just sitting there.”
Still new in the house, Aditi is yet to set up the balcony with a décor of her choice. “I haven’t done too much as I prefer it less complicated. But I would add a few elements to it since it’s my favourite corner. As of now, we have flower pots adding to the feel,” she adds.
