A garba flash mob song, Chougada is all about the power of love
The trailer of Loveratri, starring debutants Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, has already received a warm response from the audience. And now, the makers have presented a glimpse of Chougada, the first song to be released from the film.
The foot-tapping number, which will be launched tomorrow, will see the leads groove as part of a flash mob on the streets of London. The makers recreated Gujarat in London for the track, with dancers dancing to the beats of garba.
The song, which aims to showcase the power of love, has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas. A love story, the film has been extensively shot in Gujarat and London.
Meanwhile, the chemistry of the lead pair has been piquing the interest of the audience with videos and pictures from the garba training. Debutant director Abhiraj Minawala shares, “We wanted a song that has a strong Gujarati connect and captures the essence of Navratri. Chougada is a garba flash mob number. Aayush and Warina rehearsed for weeks before we shot it.”
