Jungle Book star Christopher Walken believes his mother helped launch his career in Hollywood. The actor says that without his mother sending him off to do show business at a young age he'd probably not be a Hollywood star now.
“I don't think I would be an actor if my mother hadn't put me in showbusi ness as a kid. I got to about 18 and I thought, `What are you going to do for the rest of your life?' There was really only one thing I was equipped to do. So that's what I did,“ he said.
Walken says that he does nothing else with his time other than his job because it is the most interesting part of his life.
“I don't do anything else. I don't have kids. I don't like to travel. I don't have hobbies. I don't play sports -I don't play tennis or golf or anything. Going to work is the most interesting thing I do, so I try to do it as much as I can. “I've done a lot of jobs I maybe might have been better off doing; I've never ever been very selective. It's not to make a living, it's to have something to do, you know? To go somewhere and to be with people,“ he said.
