Closing on a filmi note
The last day of the Times of India Wassup! Andheri festival saw many filmi names come together to bid a filmi adieu to this four-day long cultural fest
Designer Niharika Bhasin Khan kept the sartorially-savvy attendees during her class riveted to their seats as she spoke about the work she is passionate about — creating looks for Bollywood films.
She even let the audience in on a few secrets, like how she bleaches the clothes to lend them a worn-out look, if a particular character has to be shown wearing the same clothes in the film for a longer period of time.
Niharika Khan
Sudhir
Mishra (seen here with Anurag Basu) chaired a session on filmmaking,
where he spoke about the thriving state of Hindi cinema at the moment.
Post that, he awarded Ravi S Alok and Palash Vaswani, winners of the
short film contest where the participants were mentored by Anurag and
Vikramditya Motwane
These
body builders from Goa added a patriotic tinge to the evening as they
performed to Maa Tujhe Salaam. They had performed a few days ago also
and returned for a repeat performance on the last day on popular demand
Rajat
Kapoor opened up about his style of working in his session, candidly
telling the audience that he doesn’t like working with bound scripts. He
added that he likes to draw from the experiences and energies of the
actors he is working with, using those references to add flavour
Kartik Tiwari and Claudia Ciesla attended the fest
