Biography of Hollywood actor Bacon, Kevin

 Kevin Bacon, born on July 8, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a versatile actor known for his dramatic and sometimes dark movie roles. He gained widespread recognition as a box-office star in the MTV-styled hit "Footloose" (1984), where he portrayed a rebellious character with a passion for dancing.


Bacon began his acting career on the New York stage and later appeared in television soap operas. In 1982, he made a notable impact in the ensemble drama "Diner." However, it was his role in Oliver Stone's "JFK" (1991) that solidified his reputation as a serious actor.


Throughout his career, Bacon has taken on a wide range of roles in various genres.
