NEW PARVATI HAS LIGHT EYES JUST LIKE THE OLD

    While actress Sonarika Bhadoria chose to be in denial mode about her replacement in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev — she had claimed that she is the only Parvati for telly’s Mahadev — the inevitable has happened.
    As reported by us in May, the makers of the mythological show have finally replaced Sonarika with actress Pooja Bose. The latter started shooting for the show three days ago. Sonarika refuses to talk about it even now, but we have been informed that she was aware of what awaited her. Apparently, she wants to stay away from the media and let the development settle in.
    Interestingly, the new Parvati bears a lot of resemblance to the old one — both have cat eyes and sharp features. Says a source, “Sometime back, the shoot was stalled for three to four days because of Sonarika. For the past five months, she was causing trouble. She demanded an unreasonable hike and the production house had no choice but to replace her. But they didn’t want her to cut a sorry figure, so they never divulged the reason.”
    Producer Nikhil Sinha says, “Pooja will play Parvati from now. With Ramayan — narrated from Mahadev’s point of view — interesting tracks will open up in the show. Shiv and Parvati will be integral to the story.”
