Bill Cosby
The stand-up comedian known for family shows like Kids Say the Darndest Things was one of the biggest shocking stories of 2015. More than 50 women came out accusing him of rape and sexual assault or misconduct. The New York Magazine even released an issue with several of the women revealing their horrific stories and a transcript had Bill Cosby admitting to drugging some of them. Six schools stripped him of his honorary degrees.
Charlie Sheen
While Sheen has made news in the last couple of years for substance abuse and domestic violence, this reveal surprised even his ardent fans. Last month Charlie Sheen admitted to being HIV positive and said that he had been undergoing treatment for the condition since learning about it four years back. The actor also said that he had been paying people around him upto 10 million dollars to keep mum on the subject.
Caitlyn aka Bruce Jenner
The Olympic winner and former husband of Kris Jenner caught eyeballs when he revealed his desire to be a woman. In an interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce admitted relating to the female form and began his transition into Caitlyn. She made her Vanity Fair cover debut midyear and got much support from for coming out as transgender. She even bagged her own TV show I am cait that addressed her transition.
Zayn Malik
Zayn broke the heart of millions of One Direction fans (read girls) across the globe when he decided to leave the highly successful boyband. He had said at the time, “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.” After five years of togetherness, the band became a foursome and in fact recently announced a hiatus.
Bobbi Kristina Brown
The only child of Bobby Brown and late Whitney Houston was found lying unresponsive in a bathtub at the beginning of the year. Though the reality TV personality received the best medical care possible, she passed away by July at the age of 22. What was even more shocking was that her death was in many ways similar to her mother Whitney who only three years earlier had been found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills hotel.
