Actor Mallika Sherawat came to the rescue of her co-star Vivek Oberoi, while shooting for director Amit Chandrra’s Kismet Love Paisa Dilli (KLPD). The actor taught him to speak in a natural Haryanvi accent, which Vivek’s character in the film required. The Haryanvi lass gave her inputs and helped Vivek deliver the perfect dialogues. Vivek, who plays a typical dilli ka munda in the film, got into the skin of the character with much ease. But while shooting for a song to be added to the film, the actor had a little difficulty with the lines, as the song is sung completely in the Haryanvi dialect. An insider tells us, “Vivek had to get the dialect correct as he doesn’t know Haryanvi. But Mallika, who is also sharing the screen space with Vivek in the video, volunteered to help him get his accent right, as she is originally from Haryana. During the breaks she used to get hold of Vivek to rehearse. Vivek being the perfectionist that he is, willingly took a few lessons from her to give a perfect performance.” While Mallika is all set to revisit her roots through KLPD, Vivek on the other hand gives a tribute to Michael Jackson. A source close to the actor reveals that MJ has been one of his favourite performers and it was his idea to rope in some moves and give a tribute to the legend in his own style. “While shooting for the Appy Budday song, Vivek used some of Michael’s iconic moves. It was with the help of choreographer Brinda Master that Vivek incorporated his steps in the out and out desi track,” the source further adds.
