Timberlake lands boozy role
After thrilling audiences with the futuristic dystopian flick In Time last year, Justin Timberlake is now set to star in a radically different role — that of a food critic with a fondness for drink, in The Last Drop. A romantic comedy drama to be directed by Peter Sollett, the film tells the tale of a young man from New York with alcohol problems who finds a woman he falls in love with. And during the course of their courtship, he realises that he must get off the sauce in order to have a successful relationship with her. Being one of the few singers in recent times who has made it huge in Hollywood, Timberlake has become one of Hollywood’s biggest new names in recent years, with films like The Social Network, Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits.
