Get ready to explore
How smart can a cellphone get? Writer director Imtiaz Ali decided to find out just that when he was in Hyderabad on Thursday to launch the new Samsung Galaxy Note II smart phone.
When we caught up with the director, who was busy exploring the phone’s functions, he said, “I’m definitely looking forward to using it. It’s more than just a smart phone. The most interesting thing is that it captures your ideas and answers your queries immediately. Also, what attracted me is the magical S Pen which captures your ideas and inspirations instantly. By simply pressing the dedicated S Pen button, the pen magically recognises that the user wants to clip or edit the selected content on the screen.”
BD Park, President and CEO, South West Asia, Samsung Electronics, said, “The Galaxy Note II offers creative possibilities and boosts productivity for everyone. It’s easy to use and just as fun as it allows the users to express themselves with almost no boundaries. You can discover information faster, capture ideas anytime, anywhere, express thoughts better and efficiently manage tasks.”
With features like 5.5 inch (140.9mm) HD super AMOLED screen, the phone provides breathtaking visuals and crystal clear details. The 16:9 aspect ratio ensures an immersive and enriched cinema-like videoviewing experience, perfect for watching HD videos on the go. The large screen also allows users to see content clearly with enhanced readability. The most fascinating feature is the S Pen with a perfect grip, that provides a more precise, comfortable and natural writing and drawing experience.
The handset is surely a treat for gadget lovers. And surprisingly, this smart phone comes with a thinner and portable body.
