Actor Freida Pinto who kissed international success with Oscar winning film, Slumdog Millionaire has been more often than not written about for her relationship with co-star and actor Dev Patel. While the duo has now been dating for close to three years, Dev recently rubbished all rumours of an alleged engagement. A source close to them says, “Dev and Freida are too young to even think about anything but their career. They are very much together and serious about each other, but right now the best thing to do for them is to focus on their career. Everything else can wait.”
Whether it is Dev’s film or Freida’s, they both make sure they are there to support each other and celebrate their success and happiness together. Freida recently said that Dev knows exactly how to lift her mood when she is down and out. “We have shared so much together, and he is always the person I go to first. When you’ve shared something like that, you have no one else to go to but that person who completely understands,” she was quoted as saying.
Besides being there for each other, off screen, the duo also loves discussing work as they are their toughest critics. She reportedly said, “I like being able to ask Dev, 'What do you think of this?' He's very honest. He's not, 'You were wonderful, darling.' He'll be like, 'Hmmm. The films not really about you but be happy that you made it.”
