Looks like good friends, actors Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor share the same interest in something other than movies — a passion to play the guitar

Though they prefer to maintain a no comments stand on their relationship status, it looks like actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif still share a common passion. While Ranbir played a rockstar in his previous film, Kat donned the look of one for her upcoming movie. In fact, Katrina is seen strumming the guitar in the stills of her fim with Shah Rukh Khan as well. In an earlier interview, the actor had spoken about her latest passion — playing the guitar. She had said, “Yes, I am learning to play the guitar. I have even played it a bit in my film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. I just know to play three chords so far though. Farhan (Akhtar) taught me how to strum the guitar during Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and then it was Ali (Zafar) who himself is a pop star. I feel both my co-stars have helped me accomplish my dream.” She is apparently even taking lessons to learn to play the musical instrument like her good friend Ranbir. A source says, “Katrina is very much into the guitar and she is quite good for a beginner. In fact, the way she holds and poses with the guitar even for the shoots, it really doesn’t look like she’s acting. She actually took lessons for her earlier projects and has continued them.” Though Ranbir may have dropped the guitar post his Rockstar act, it surely seems like Katrina is not ready to give up her rocker avatar anytime soon.
