After all its trials and tribulations SOS KEEPS ITS DATE WITH DIWALI

Ajay Devgn has every reason to be joyful. His new film, Son Of Sardaar (SOS), that has generated encouraging buzz since the first promo went online, is registering very good numbers in advance booking at the cinemas. Also, the order of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, issuing an inquiry notice into YRF’s anti-competitive activities, has vindicated his stand. Ajay had filed a case against YRF to level the playing field this festive season.
The actor-producer says, “We have been getting calls from distributors and exhibitors, who are excited about the advance ticket sales. The music has caught on and the audiences, who we’ve been
interacting with during the promotional tours, are eagerly looking forward to the Diwali release. It has reaffirmed our faith and confidence in the film.”
Just like Ajay, SOS heroine Sonakshi Sinha, too, is in a celebratory mood. The actress, who has been part of two ‘100-crore films, enthused, “Wherever we went, people were singing the title track and Rani Tu Main Raja. When the music does so well, it
benefits the movie, too. I am optimistic about our film’s prospects at the box-office.”
No wonder then, that Ajay was jubilant when shooting with Sonakshi for Bombay Times. Soon after the shoot, he lit the ladi (garland) of fireworks.
Son Of Sardaar, produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and YRV Infra & Media (P) Ltd, presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Eros International, releases November 13.
