Irrfan gets realistically RAW
The actor will be seen playing a RAW agent in Nikhil Advani’s D-Day. The film is currently being shot in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. While Irrfan’s co-star Arjun Rampal had to work on his physique, Irrfan states his role didn’t essentially require him to do any of that. “I play a RAW agent who is stationed outside Dawood Ibrahim’s house in Pakistan. Unlike popular perception, RAW or secret agents need not have great physiques. Arjun has worked on his body and stunts, as he plays an army man.” Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan have played RAW agents recently. When asked if he too will be seen romancing an ISI agent like they did, Irrfan just laughed slyly, hinting that his role won’t be as ‘glamourous’. Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor will be seen playing Dawood in the film.
