David Bowie portraits sell for $10,000 at auction
Three David Bowie self-portraits
have sold at auction in Cornwall, England for $10,400. The paintings from the estate of local art dealer Gillie Gilbert sold to an unnamed London-based bidder at the Penzance Auction House on Tuesday. All three of the self-portraits were painted during the 1990s and signed by the reclusive rock star.
