Himesh Reshammiya on a high with back to back hits in 2012
With three back-to-back hits — Bol Bachchan, OMG Oh My God!, Son Of Sardaar — this year, Himesh Reshammiya is on a high. And, with the music of Khiladi 786, starring Akshay Kumar and Asin, already creating waves, it couldn’t have been a better phase for the composer. He is also co-producing the film and has scripted it, too.
Says Himesh, “I’m extremely happy and grateful to the audience and the film industry for their never-ending support. This only motivates me to work harder the next year.” He further reveals that he has made a bank of 12 scripts, created 500 new tunes, 25 of which he used to compose the songs in Bodyguard (2011), Bol Bachchan, OMG…, SOS and Khiladi 786. “If I have been able to give 25 hits in a row this year, I am confident that with these new compositions and scripts, I’ll deliver 50 hit songs next year,” he concludes.
The composer is also gungho about his upcoming performance at Wembley in the UK on December 16.
