‘I plan vacations spontaneously’
...says actress Minissha Lamba, who loves the excitement of sudden, impulsive journeys
The last time you laughed really hard... This Diwali, I went to Delhi to meet my family after a long time. It was a reunion with all relatives. My brother’s hilarious antics left all of us in splits.
A holiday you’ll never forget... Around three years ago, I went to Ladakh for a week-long vacation with some friends. It was special, because I realised that India has so many beautiful places. It was a spontaneous decision and therefore, quite exciting. If I plan things, the excitement runs out. So, I always plan vacations spontaneously.
Something that really shocked you... I can’t think of anything. I’m not someone who gets shocked easily. What would you like to change about your past? Nothing, not even being better at studies. In fact, I thank God I wasn’t good at studies. It would have been a waste in my profession. My life is perfect today because of whatever happened in the past.
Something you have wanted to do for long... I have always wanted to go skydiving. But whenever I got an opportunity, the weather wouldn’t be conducive.
Your guilty pleasure... Taking long showers; they last about 15 minutes on an average. Shopping is no longer a guilty pleasure as I have grown out of it.
As told to Lisa Antao
THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED YOUR HEART OUT... When my pet dog Misty passed away in January. I was deeply saddened by the loss.
