Kangna, Dutt bury the hatchet
Actors to come together for a film, finally putting an end to their cold war
Looks like Sanjay Dutt is on a patch up spree. First, he made up with former best friend-turned-foe Sanjay Gupta and now it might just be Kangna Ranaut’s turn. The two have been signed on for a Dharma Productions film titled, Ungli. It will be directed by Rensil D’Silva of Kurbaan (2009) fame. Emraan Hashmi will play the lead while Kangna and Sanjay will have important roles in the project.Ungli, incidentally, will be Sanjay and Kangna’s first film together after their controversial fallout. A while back, the actor was close to Sanjay’s wife Manyata and the Dutt camp and even did a film with him called Rascals (2011). However, when she told everyone about their proximity, she was sidelined. So much so, that she wasn’t even included in the title track of Rascals.
But looks like times have changed. A source reveals, “Kangna
didn’t talk ill about the Dutts. This worked well for her. They have
slowly patched up and things are normal now. And Dharma Productions has
managed to get them together for a film, their first after the fight.
This might just be an indicator that the two have overcome their
differences.”

Recently, when asked about this, Sanjay had denied having any
problem with Kangna and told HT Café, “I have no issue or any cold war
with Kangna. Everything is fine.”
