Bank demands a dog to repay money

Bank demands a dog to repay money

A British bank sent a letter demanding “Noodles, the dog pay back the charge of £6.84 because he had gone into overdraft — but homeowner Robert Chapman, who had only just moved into the abode in Leicestershire, East Midlands, was so confused by the note that he sent a letter back from his own dog Charley. He said, “The letter was addressed to Noodles, the dog, clearly someone who was in the house before. So I thought it would be fitting to send a reply from Charley.” Following the confusion, Grant McDonald, a spokesman at the bank, said, “The new home owners do not owe the bank anything, this is the previous tenant’s debt, so they shouldn’t worry about it.”
