Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note II Incredible Art Piece

Breaking art records digitally

Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note II Incredible Art Piece, an initiative to create the world’s largest digital art piece, recently in the capital. Internationally acclaimed artist duo Jiten Thukral and Sumir Tagra, along with Bollywood actor Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh and Rahul Saighal, chief marketing officer, Samsung India, kicked off the Incredible Art Piece at a mall in the capital. The aim of this initiative, say company reps, is to create a new Guinness World Records title for the most artists contributing to a single art piece.
Genelia, who looked pretty in her short, lacy outfit, told us, “I’m a gadget freak. I am really excited to be a part of this great initiative.”
Added Saighal, “We are very excited about engaging with our consumers for creating the Incredible Art Piece and thereby breaking a guinness World Records title. The new Samsung Galaxy Note II enables personalised and expressive content creation. At Samsung, we
value innovation and creativity, and the Samsung Galaxy Note II is the perfect device for artistic people. Through this initiative, we are inviting all Indians to come forward and use this as a platform to express their creativity.”
Participants can use the S-pen to create art forms on the Sam
sung Galaxy Note II. Consumers can log on to www.samsung.com or visit Samsung’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileIndia, where an online app will help them create their masterpiece and submit it digitally.
Consumers wishing to participate can also visit any of the Samsung Digital Plazas, Smartphone Cafés and Ex
perience Zones, where they can use a Samsung Galaxy Note II to create their digital art piece. Consumers can also create an art piece offline and then scan and email their contributions through www.samsung.com.
