MERI PYAARI BEHENIYA BAN GAYI DULHANIYA

The who’s who of Bollywood turned up for the wedding reception of director Rohit Shetty’s sister Mehek with designer Navin Shetty. The event also made news for bringing arch-rivals Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan under one roof. However, the two stars avoided bumping into each other and it was only after Ajay left, at about 12.15 am, that SRK arrived at the reception area to wish the bride and groom. And after Shah Rukh had left, Salman Khan arrived, at 1 am, to wish the couple. Akshay Kumar was amongst the first few stars to arrive. Anil Kapoor, who was the most enthusiastic when posing for the media, was later spotted chatting at length with nephew Arjun Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor, who arrived with Karan Johar, met up with Abhishek Bachchan, her first co-star, very warmly, like long-lost buddies. When Rohit Shetty was escorting Abhishek outside the private area and thanked him for coming, AB junior said, “I’ll be back in a few minutes. I’m not leaving so soon. Hum to ladkiwale hain.” The reception was held at Sun N Sand Hotel that will be celebrating its golden jubilee at the end of this month.
