Abhinav Kashyap, who directed Salman Khan in the Dabangg (2010), the
highest boxoffice grosser in the actor’s career, is still seething over
the fact that he wasn’t asked to direct the sequel. “He (Salman) should
regret (the fact) that I’m not making the sequel,” says Abhinav angrily.
The director, who will start work on his next film, the Ranbir
Kapoor starrer, Besharam, in October, has avoided talking about the
Salman-Dabangg issue. “The media brings up the issue all the time, so I
don’t want to talk to them,” he adds. Dabangg 2 is being directed by
Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan, and will bring back Salman as Chulbul
Pandey.
