Sridevi’s girl’s night out with Chulbul!

Post the release of their film English Vinglish
actress Sridevi and director Gauri Shinde hardly got time to catch up
with each other. Perhaps this was what prompted the duo to have a girls
night out recently. And the two bonded over Salman Khan. No, they were
not partying with the Bollywood hero, but they did catch him in his
latest onscreen avatar as Chulbul Pandey. A source says, “Gauri and
Sridevi thought of having a girls night out by watching a film together
and then going for dinner. They went to see Dabangg 2 together, the day
it released at a suburban theatre. The two bonded over Chulbul Pandey!”
Apparently, the actress and the filmmaker enjoyed Salman’s onscreen
antics and even spoke about how Salman is similar to his onscreen
character in several ways. “Sridevi and Salman have done films together,
and both of them hold each other in high regard. She told Gauri that no
one but Salman can pull off a Chulbul,” adds a source. Besides Salman’s
film they are also excited about the television premiere of their own
film English Vinglish this week.
