Raja to play a cop
Raja Chaudhary, who has always had a rather strained relationship with the police, has got a chance to be on the other side of the fence. He will be seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Adaalat as a cop. Last seen in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, Raja, who is back on the tube, says, “I am playing Sooraj Rathod, who will be introduced in the New Year special episode about multiple murders. KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) solves the case with my help. It’s going to be a permanent character. Our working style and ideologies differ, but we would work as a force against criminals.”
Siblings turn partners
The Mohan sisters — Shakti, Mukti and Neeti — are coming together for the first time to make a music video. While the youngest, Mukti, has directed it, the eldest, Neeti — she is a singer — has composed the music for a special song. Shakti will be seen dancing in the album. She says, “I was in New York when I came up with the idea of making a music video around a dancer’s conflict. I shared my thoughts with Mukti and she wrote a beautiful poem based on the dancer’s struggle between passion and perfection. I roped in Neeti to compose the music and the next thing we knew, we were shooting for the video in Kerala. The video, which emphasises not giving up on one’s dreams, remains close to our hearts.”
