Catch TOIFA’s spectacular show on TV

Lux Cozi TOIFA, the event that had Vancouver mesmerised for three days with its starry lineup of names, performances and gala evenings, will be on air tonight

The first ever edition of Lux Cozi TOIFA in Vancouver, British Columbia, got off to a spectacular start in April this year with its celebration of Hindi cinema. The threeday long extravaganza brought Bollywood closer to its fans in Canada, giving them a chance to witness electrifying performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, among others. The event started with a musical night on April 4, hosted by Neha Dhupia. On April 5, designer Manish Malhotra presented a fashion show to toast 100 years of Indian cinema during the technical awards night, which was hosted by Karan Johar and Chitrangda Singh.
The event culminated with the main awards on April 6 that had a packed house of almost 38,000 people from across British Columbia, Canada and North America in attendance. The hosts Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma kept the crowds in splits along with co-host Boman Irani. Ranbir received the Best Actor award for Barfi from Ashok Todi, chairman, Lux Cozi. Present with him were Priyanka Todi, Udi Todi and Rahul Todi, directors of the brand. Said Ashok Todi, “We are honoured to associate with TOIFA, through which we can also take forward our bond with actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sunny Deol, among others. This event recognises real talent from Bollywood.”
