Actor Randeep Hooda is preparing to compete in the national show-jumping competition

Actor Randeep Hooda has decided that he will be competing at the National horse show jumping competition. According to sources, he is seen regularly practicing at the race course in the evenings with his horses, Simply Supreme and Ranji.
According to Randeep, he always feared that he will cut a sorry figure in the races, but somehow he found the urge to carry on. "I remember a horrible experience during my first competition. I was riding Ranji then and he had somehow developed a very bad habit of running away when he had to jump. It was such an embarrassing habit that I didn't know what to do when he had to perform that jump. At the competition, he did the same the thing and everybody was laughing at me, because they all knew that I was an actor. At the competition, when Ranji was approaching the jump, he turned 180 degrees and ran away. I was disqualified. I remember that I hid behind a tree for hours together and couldn't take that everybody was laughing at me."
But now things have changed and Randeep says that he is looking forward to the competition because he is now confident not only of himself, but of his horses as well. "I started at the Chandigarh Horse Show and then competed at Bengalaru, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai. The competition will be on December 18, 2011. Teams from Indian army and police will also participate amongst others. I am practicing hard and I am sure I wouldn't disappoint anybody," he adds.
