VIKRAM BHATT AND BHUSHAN KUMAR TO DO SCI-FI FILMS

    Vikram Bhatt has had a good year with both Raaz 3 and 1920 Evil Returns faring well at the box office. He recently entered a partnership with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series to produce five films that promise to push the barriers in the science-fiction, thriller and horror genre.
    Vikram had wanted to direct fewer films and produce more, but now he has decided to direct two of the films himself. Though horror is his forte, this time he will be directing an action film set in the sci-fi genre. The second film, starring Bipasha Basu, is his most ambitious project.
    About their association, Bhatt says, “Bhushan and his company understand the value of a new idea and they are willing to cross frontiers to make films of the future. It’s rare to find partners who share your belief and vision.” Kumar adds, “We are happy to associate with Vikram and ASA Productions, they have an impressive track-record with their films.”
    The first film to go on floors this January is Bhaag Johnny, a supernatural thriller with Kunal Kemmu. Next comes Hate Story 2.
