Common friends say that it is apparently the current mood of former 'good friends' actors Asin and Neil Nitin Mukesh
Even though there has been a lot of bad blood between actors Asin and Neil Nitin Mukesh, both of them don't intend to stop talking to each other, their common friends say. It was rumoured that Asin and Neil were having an affair and soon it was again reported that Asin was recommending Neil to a few producers. The strong rumours obviously had an effect on the friendship and the couple soon separated as good friends.
"The silly rumours that were circulated by their detractors of course had their effect. It took a toll on a perfectly good friendship. But I don't think it was able to ruin it totally," says a common friend.
Sources say that Asin is still very cordial to Neil and every text message sent to her will certainly get an answer. "They never stopped talking and it is not a wise decision to end a friendship on a note like this. They are still friends and they both feel that they could have done without the publicity overdrive that surrounded them. At the end of it everybody realised that they just could have done without it. When you have a good friendship, its best that you nurture it and don't expose it to the world for everybody to scrutinise. Relationships are anyway fragile in Bollywood and both Neil and Asin are not happy with the way things have gone," the common friend adds.
So what's going to happen between them now? Friends reveal that both of them just gave each other a cool off period and now both of them are ready to forget whatever happened and move on in their lives again.
"Asin never holds grudges against anybody. We all expect Neil to be positive about the whole thing and doubly ensure that nothing improper goes out about a good friendship that he once had. If things go as desired then who knows that Neil and Asin can be good friends again?" the source adds..
