Even after the plug was pulled on his parties at the T-20 cricketing tournament, actor Arjun Rampal now returns with them on the F1 circuit

Even though it was one of the biggest controversies that rocked the cricket world and reportedly one of the reasons for the ouster of biz honcho Lalit Modi, those infamous parties on the night of every cricket match are making a grand comeback again. Only this time, they've shifted base to the Indian Formula One Grand Prix Tournament that is beginning in Delhi at the end of this month. The host of these parties is once again — actor Arjun Rampal.
The T-20 cricket tournament parties had become a major point of controversy, as a section of the Indian players had reportedly informed the Cricket Board that they got too tired after a match to attend those parties. The contract was never renewed in the next season of the game.
However, this time around it seems that all the loopholes in the earlier system have been plugged. "It is true that we will be putting together the after-parties for the Indian Grand Prix at the resort where most of the who's who of the world and the motor racing fraternity will be residing. A formal press conference will be held soon giving all the details. Rest assured it will be the most spectacular experience that India has ever seen," Arjun said in a statement.
Though sources say that the Sports Ministry have already made enquiries about the event and are well aware of it, the ministry won't react unless specific complaints are filed. Till now, all seems well with the F1 parties as the event has overwhelming support. The Indian Formula 1 Grand Prix is slated to be held in Greater Noida from October 28 to 30.
"We have toiled hard to build one of the best racing circuits in the world and brought the most exciting, glamorous motor sport F1 racing to India. Now we are associating with Arjun Rampal and (restaurateur) AD Singh to showcase to the world that whatever we do, we do it the best. The evenings (parties) at the Jaypee Resort would be the place to be during the Race weekend," says Sameer Gaur, the chief of the organising company.
