NATHALIA SET TO HEAD SOUTH
The model-turned-actress states that she’s in talks with the makers of two projects
Nathalia Kaur,
Brazilian model-turned-actress Nathalia Kaur, who created a buzz with her Dan Dan item song from Department, says she is now keen on making a mark in the South. The actress reveals that she is currently looking at a slew of South offers that have come her way. “I’m very keen to work here since I love everything — from the movies to the simplicity of the people. I am in talks right now with makers of two projects. Once everything gets finalised, I’ll be ready to take on the South Indian film industry,” she says.
What about the language barrier? “I’m multilingual — I speak Portuguese, Italian, Spanish English and even understand French. Sometimes, I get a little messed up, mixing the languages, but it’s expected! After I’m done learning Hindi, I’ll start learning Telugu,” she says.
So, no more item numbers for her? “I always said that I’m in this industry because I love what I do, and I do it for happiness. Item numbers do give a push to your career and I wouldn’t deny any work that would make me happy and proud,” says Nathalia, “Showbiz is a completely different world. As a model, you hardly speak or have any visibility. But as an actor, you have to be more careful about your image.”
