Chan’s hunt for 12 heads

Chan’s hunt for 12 heads

Jackie Chan carries on his action legacy with CZ12, his new offering in 2013. The man, who has effectively combined martial arts with the art of comedy with the Rush Hour and
Armour Of God sequels, Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights, returns to the same genre as his kickass (literally) alter-ego — Asian Hawk.
Twelve stolen heads, an international conspiracy, a global treasure hunt, with one man risking it all for his honour — as adventurer and treasure hunter Hawk, Chan is seeking to repatriate twelve bronze heads of the animals of the Chinese zodiac that were looted from the Old Summer Palace during the Second Opium War. Of course, in Jackie Chan style he
also managed to jump off an active volcano and break a Guinness World Record or two (for Most Stunts Performed by a Living Actor and Most Credits in One Movie) in his hunt for the missing heads across five continents.
CZ12, also known as the Armour Of God III: Chinese Zodiac, combines action, adventure and fun. This one’s for the Indian audience, that’s spoilt for masala and kids who’re default fans of Chan in any case and anyone who likes to kick off their weekend with a large dose of death-defying stunts.
Mirchi Movies is releasing the film in India for Edit II productions today.
