Skyfall nominated for PGA Awards
Skyfall has become the first ever 007 film to be nominated for the top
prize at the Producers Guild of America Awards (PGA). The nomination is
a boost to Skyfall’s Oscar chances and comes just days after the James
Bond thriller passed the 1 billion dollar mark at the global box office.The PGA award is seen as a good indicator of which film could win best picture at the Oscars, as the winner of the award has gone on to win best picture 16 times in the last 23 years at the Oscars. Star-studded musical Les Miserables and Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln have also been included on the list of the 10 shortlisted movies.
