    Prior to his team’s match on Monday, birthday boy Sidhartha Mallya had asked his team to gift him a win. Though Sid’s wish wasn’t granted, he turned 26 with an extremely hush-hush and heavily-guarded birthday bash in Chandigarh. With a hundred very select guests including dad Vijay Mallya, Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman and Jimmy Sheirgill, the celebrations continued till the wee hours.
    His team’s players Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Zaheer Khan, AB de Villiers, Daniel Vettori, Ravi Rampaul and RP Singh too trooped in for the occasion. The cake was shaped like his team’s jersey.
