    Political heavyweights and important bureaucrats were seen in attendance at Abhishek Tawade and Shweta’s wedding in the city. Shweta, daughter of eminent educationist Sunil G Karve (Founder Trustee MET and Chairperson, Governing Board, Kohinoor Education Trust) tied the knot with Abhishek after a week-long celebration.
    At the wedding, Raj Thackeray was inundated with autograph requests. He was accompanied by wife Sharmila. We also spotted Umesh and Madhavi Joshi, Kumar Ketkar, Uday Nirgudkar, Dr Sonal and Apporva Shah, Dr Rupa Shah, and Manoj Tirodkar, among others.
    The guests were heard talking about the breathtaking decor and lavish spread that the hosts had put up.
