Bringing together art and luxury living, Kohler Kitchen and Bath India recently inaugurated a luxury showroom in Mumbai named Aquarius. The store showcases the brand’s exclusive artist edition products like Crimson Topaz, Mille Fleurs, Flight of Fancy and Gilded Meadow, among others. Located at the Raghuvanshi Mills Compound in Lower Parel, Aquarius is a highend store spread over 800 sq feet of space.
The store was inaugurated by Salil Sadanandan, managing director of the brand, along with renowned artist Hema Upadhyay. With a strong focus on the design community, the brand envisions to promote artistes and their expertise in the field of

art. The outreach with Upadhyay is the first step from the brand to establish an art and industry programme in the country.
As part of the association, Upadhyay created an exclusive art piece called The Pedestrian, which has been installed at the store to complement the artist edition range of products being showcased there.
Commenting on the same, Sadanandan said, “Innovation and an uncompromising commitment to design, craftsmanship and quality is the cornerstone of all our products. In India, consumers are now inclined towards experiencing luxurious and aesthetically designed homes and with the launch of this store, we offer our most exquisite high-end product portfolio to the Indian luxury consumer. The store offers a line-up of elegant and stylish products that can add a touch of oomph to any bathroom.” Added Upadhyay, “Having my art piece installed at the store is truly an honour for me.”
According to Sadanandan, this new showroom has been built keeping in mind the rising demand for bathroom products with contemporary, classic and aesthetic designs. The store promises to be the go-to place for those inclined towards a luxurious and sophisticated bathing experience, which is matched well with products that promise both durability and style.
