It’s not just Vidya Balan and Nandita Das who are going the whole nine yards at Cannes. Even French actress Veronique Jannot went the sari way on the red carpet

    Cannes jury member Vidya Balan’s desi appearances may be getting her a mix of bouquets and brickbats, but that hasn’t deterred others from making a red carpet statement with the sari. The other jury member from India, Nandita Das, has only been spotted in suits and saris at the festival. Ameesha Patel, who walked the red carpet with co-star Puja Gupta, chose a lehengacholi for her appearance. But, looks like it’s French actress Veronique Jannot who grabbed all the eyeballs with her orange sari and kundan neckpiece.
